Grandma Rose was a Kunshier



Grandma Rose was a Kunshier.  Her parents were Joseph and Mary nee Teller Kunshier.  They were both born in Bohemia and emigrated to the U.S. in 1884.  They farmed in Columbus Township,  Anoka County, Minnesota

Her siblings included:



Joseph Jr. Kunshier 1869 – 1942, born in Bohemia, married Theresa Groess in 1893. She grew up on a neighboring farm.  They farmed in Columbus Township, Anoka County.  They are buried in Oak Park Cemetery, Anoka. 
1876 – 1958, born in Bohemia, married John Andrew Schmidt in 1894, lived on Thomas St. in St. Paul. John worked as a chef for the Railroad.








Charles Kunshier 1879 – 1940, born in Bohemia, married Mary Catherine Rose Dahm in 1901. Their last known address is in Columbus Township, Anoka County.  His last occupation was working as a carpenter on a "game farm".  He is buried in Oak Park Cemetery, Anoka.

Frank L Kunshier 1880 – 1916, born in Bohemia, married Mary Louise Benton in 1914.  He is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake.

Conrad Kunshier 1887 – 1958, born in Columbus Township, Anoka County, Minnesota. He married Anne Doherty. He is also buried in Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake.

Andrew James Kunshier 1889-1981, born Columbus Township, Anoka County, Minnesota, married Leonora Mary Sivigny, farmed in Columbus Township, Anoka County. He and Lenora are buried in Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake.

 


Alexander A. Kunshier 1892 – 1973, born Columbus Township, Anoka County, Minnesota, married Esther Amanda Evjen, farmed in Columbus Township, Anoka County.  He and Esther are buried in Oak Park Cemetery, Anoka.
Emma Agatha Kunshier 1895 – 1979, born in Forest Lake Township, Washington County, Minnesota, married George Strecker in 1912, George farmed in Ham Lake Township, Anoka County, Minnesota

  Rose is buried in Roselawn Cemetery, Roseville Minnesota,  and shares a gravestone with her son Martin and his wife Anna.





Her parents Joseph and Mary are buried at Calvary Cemetery,
 Forest Lake, as are some of her siblings.
 





Other siblings are buried at Oak Park Cemetery, Anoka MN.
